The Erdinger Dunkel beer is within the fourth group I described in the first post of the blog: the Weissbier. This German wheat beer has a dark-brown colour, hence the name " Dunkel " which means dark in German, characteristic of the dark roasted malts giving this beer a full-bodied flavour. Now, let's talk about what I found on my first time trying this beer! Even though it has this dark colour the taste is pretty different from a Stout beer - what I was expecting to be du
